Being a No Compromise Christian
Can you say with confidence that you are a NO COMPROMISE Christian? Do you ever test your faith to see what kind of Christian you are? The apostle Paul said that we should test our own faith ... 2 Corinthians 13:5 ...'Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?' ... We need to examine ourselves, to see if we are truly standing in the faith of Jesus. Nowadays, churches are full of professing Christians who think it ok to keep one foot in the world, and enjoy the pleasures of this world. "As long as I've got Jesus" is the quote I keep hearing people say. Are you sure you have Jesus? Does your life show that you truly belong to the Lord? Or are you just playing church?

Believers today seem to be trying to please both the world and the Lord, which is an impossible thing. Our love for Christ should be so strong that we would rather die than sin against Him.
Unfortunately, there is a "comfortable" religion being preached in churches today, which is not from God. Yes, Jesus is being preached, but in the same breath, the preachers are saying it's ok to keep one foot in the world; it's ok to watch sinful tv programs and movies; it's ok to listen to worldly music; it's ok to love money; it's ok to get drunk; it's ok to say a white lie .... "As long as you have Jesus!" Just look at the wicked prosperity gospel. Please don't listen to people who say these things. If you think it ok to carry on in these things above, you are not walking with Jesus. If you are still trying to seek "pleasure" from this world, then you are not walking with the Lord Jesus.
Luke 9:23 ...'And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.'
What does the above verse mean to you? Jesus said we are to deny ourselves. This includes any worldly pleasures that we still try to cling on to. Why are you still trying to please your friends or family over God? This maybe an uncomfortable message to hear, but it is one that the world badly needs. Did Jesus ever say that it is ok to continue in sin, as long as you believe in Him? Did He ever say that it is ok to put others first before Him, as long as you believe in Him? Did He ever say that a true Christian faith would be easy? No! So what did He say? ... Matthew 7:14 ...'Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.' ... It's such a 'narrow', difficult way and only a few will find it. Does this verse not bother you? What kind of faith are you living? Are you pressing on down the 'narrow' difficult path to everlasting life, living a no compromise relationship with your Lord, or are you heading down the 'wide' easy path which leads to death and the lake of fire? God is seeking those who worship Him in spirit and in truth, who give their all for Him, not those who give a half hearted effort, thinking they have an easy ride into heaven.
Many Christians think that just because it says in one verse that 'if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord then you will be saved', all they need to do is just that and they will be saved. But what did the devils do? ... Luke 4:41 ...'And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.' ... They did just that!! So according to the 'easy' doctrine of many denominations today, the devils are saved! Let's do away with the rest of God's Word, because we only need this one verse! Oh what a great job satan has done amongst the professing church today! The pure doctrine of the early church has been forgotten. The teaching of the great reformers has been forgotten, and replaced with an easy, comfortable teaching that sounds 'nice' to the world. We are living in the end times nearing the return of our Lord and Saviour, and we urgently need to get back to a true, pure, no compromise Christian faith in Jesus.
James 4:4 ...'Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.'
Are you still trying to be a friend of the world?
"No empty words; No white lies; No token prayers."
Matthew 22:29 ...'Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.' ... Are you studying the Word every day to find the truth about being a true no compromise Christian?
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 ...'Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.' ... Are you fleeing from sin and becoming a no compromise Christian?
1 Corinthians 13:2,4-7 ...'And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.' ... Are you a truly loving, humble, giving person?
Matthew 7:22-23 ...'Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.'
Does this verse above make you sit up and take notice? Does it bother you? It should do if you are not separating yourself from this world. So many professing Christians are going to be lost when Jesus returns at the second coming and will be cast into the lake of fire, because they thought they could continue in sin. Jesus Christ gave His life and died a terrible death because of our sins. Are you going to carry on in your sinful ways knowing what Jesus did for you? Flee from sin and do not let the world compromise your faith.

Signs of a No Compromise Christian
1. They do not comform to the things of this world.
2. Their number 1 goal is to be like Jesus.
3. They love the LORD with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.
4. They are actively separating themselves from all ungodliness.
5. They do not watch sinful TV programs or movies.
6. They do not read worldly magazines or books.
7. They find no pleasure in listening to worldly music.
8. They do not look up to worldly celebrities.
9. They do not partner up with unbelievers.
10. They are humble and have child-like faith.
11. They seek to please the Lord, not man.
12. They would rather suffer and die, than compromise their faith.
13. They are actively fleeing from sin.
14. They are generous, whether they are poor or wealthy.
15. They share the gospel message with others.
16. They have a desire for the truth of God's Word.
17. They obey God and keep His Commandments.
18. They are doers of the Word, not hearers only.
19. They fear the LORD God and turn away from evil.
20. They speak with encouraging, edifying and wise words.
21. They do not gossip, or slander others.
22. They pray with fervent prayers every day.
23. They study the Word of God every day.
24. They endure sufferings, hardships and trials for their faith in Jesus.
25. They are ready and eagerly awaiting the soon return of their Lord Jesus.
26. They hate the things of this world and know their real home is with Jesus.
27. Everything they do is for the glory of God, NOT themselves.
28. They are ready to give their lives for Christ Jesus.
The above list describes the true Christian follower of Christ Jesus. Does this describe you? Are you a no compromise Christian, who worships God in spirit and truth? If not, then I plead with you to step out of the world and put both feet firmly in the Kingdom of God. As the words of that great old song go; "Dare to be a Daniel, dare to stand alone, dare to have a purpose firm, dare to make it known!"
I plead with you to give your all to Christ Jesus and worship God in spirit and truth, and become a NO COMPROMISE Christian.
