Health Message

Do you think much about your health? Do you eat the right things, like fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds? Or do you like the majority of the world eat lots of dairy products and the processed stuff that isn't really food at all, and which does damage to your body? Is it ok not to be bothered about staying healthy?

1 Corinthians 6:19 ...'What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?'

1 Corinthians 3:17 ...'If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy, for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.'

Now we are not to take this too far and end up making "health" a god in our lives. We just need to look after ourselves and stay fit and healthy for God. After all, how can God use us if we are ill all the time?

The world has been deceived into thinking that all the dairy products and processed stuff that has been pushed on us is good to eat, when in fact they are the main cause of many diseases around the world. Does the Bible have anything to say about health and what we should eat? Yes, I believe that God is very clear about what we should eat to help keep us healthy. Right from the beginning, the original diet plan was to consume only fruits, nuts, seeds and vegetables. No meat, no dairy products, no processed stuff, just good food that God created Himself for us to eat.

We also have in Leviticus the diet laws that the majority of people ignore, and yet if we all heeded God's commands and advice, we would be far better off. We also have a verse that mentions health in the New Testament ... 3 John 1:2 ...'Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.'
